THE STORY OF BLYSS YOGA SANCTUARY

BLYSS Yoga Sanctuary is the perfect place for your Vermont experience.

BLYSS rests on a large, wooded Estate overlooking Blueberry Lake and hundreds of acres of The Green Mountain National Forest. It is truly a Nature Lover’s Paradise with fresh blueberries, blackberries and raspberries in Summer and amazing swimming, boating, fishing, hiking and biking in warmer months. There are four-season activities right out your door and our canoes and kayaks are yours to enjoy anytime. Our Weddings & Yoga Lawn is expansive and overlooks Pristine Blueberry Lake, boasting one of the cleanest spring-fed lakes in the country!

Our Event Facility includes The Blueberry Lake Pavilion made of post-and-beam timber frame and filled with bamboo tables and chairs, a pool/ping pong table, comfortable couches, food tables, china, silver, linen… everything you need to complete your next Vermont Event (Wedding) or Retreat.  Our artfully-presented cuisine is delicious, local, organic and (as much as possible) harvested from our very own gardens.

*** We specialize in Vegan/Gluten-Free/Vegetarian and any special dietary needs you or your guests may have. Catering menus can be emailed upon request.  Multi-media shows can be shown in our Pavilion; we have equipment for your use on-site.

There are upper and lower furnished, screened porches and large decks for eating and lounging while watching the geese come in for a landing, or a small sailboat float by in the distance. BLYSS is a Bird Sanctuary and many different kinds of wildlife can be viewed just about any time of day. There are many species of Vermont yard birds: Owls, Hummingbirds, Woodpeckers, Golden Finches, Cardinals, Blue Herons and many other water and migrating birds making their home here.  

The Mad River Valley boasts one of the finest Farmers Markets in the state with live music weekly, and in August The Vermont Festival of the Arts is in full swing here with over 100 Art and Music related events in our five small towns that make up our wonderful little Community. Since our lovely lakefront accommodations are limited while having your Wedding/Event at BLYSS Yoga Sanctuary, there are plenty of diverse, back-up lodging options very nearby. Whatever your needs, simple or deluxe, The Mad River Valley has a bit of everything for your guests with a friendly smile to go with it!     

The Blueberry Lake Region is one of the most beautiful, unspoiled, unpopulated areas in Vermont. There is only one other home on the Lake so your views look like an Alaskan wilderness.
