Your Instructors
Eloise (Karuna Om) has been training teachers since 2001. She is certified in five styles of yoga, including Sivananda, Ashtanga Primary under David Swenson, Gentle/Restorative and Yoga Nidra through Prem Yoga, and finally through her guru of over 20 years, Sri Dharma Mittra.
She also studied Vedanta extensively with David Brown, who studied 30 years under his master, Swami Chinmayananda.
In addition to running multiple yoga centers, she has taught yoga, meditation and holistic nutrition in many drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, created a farm animal rescue where yoga students could learn Ahimsa (non-harm and compassionate behavior) while getting to know many kinds of animals, and as a Master Gardener, created a permaculture wildlife habitat home, also for students to enjoy vegan potluck in while learning about sustainable living and gardening.
Rita Maranda Brown specializes in Yin, Chair, and Kids Yoga. She is certified through Saha Yoga in their advanced teacher training program.
